Over the past time, Dong Nai authorities have approved three large-scale field projects in Thong Nhat, Dinh Quan, Tan Phu and Vinh Cuu districts. Accordingly, the model expanded over 100 hectares of plantation areas in the province and the number is expected to increase in the coming time.

Recently, the provincial authorities have organized training courses to get more farmers and distribution companies involved. Moreover, they are also planning to build new advanced infrastructure, rural transportation and water resource facilities to support the supply chain in the time to come.

Even though the province has achieved encouraging results, the actual development of the large-scale field in Dong Nai remains difficult and challenging, including obstacles such as: unsteady output for farmers, dependent on traders, low prices; lack of specialised technical staff to guide people in participating in the large-scale field.

Besides the sugarcane and cocoa crops, Dong Nai province is also beginning to adopt the “ four- players collaboration ” model to other crops such as pepper, rice, corn, durian, rambutan, mango; expecting to make other spectacular breakthroughs, creating a comprehensive new look for the province's agriculture sector.
