(ĐN)- Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee has emphasized the need to mobilise all social resources for building new style rural areas.
Addressing at a meeting on May 13, Vice Chairman said building new rural areas is an important policy that has won the support of people.
In the 2010-2014 period, Dong Nai has mobilized more than VND72 trillion from different financial resources to build new rural areas. Of the total, over VND21.6 trillion came from state budget, more than VND14.4 trillion from credit capital and some VND35.2 trillion from enterprises and people.
He noted that the province’s rural areas have seen many positive changes during the period. However, a greater effort is needed in order to achieve the set target of building new rural areas by 2020, he said.
