(ĐN)- On October 4, a delegation led by Deputy Secretary Phan Thi My Thanh of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee paid a working visit to Vietnamese Trade Office in the U.S and met some local retailers as part of the province’s efforts to boost trade promotion in this country.
At the event, Deputy Secretary introduced the locality's potential and strengths to US investors and called for more investments in commercial infrastructure development in Dong Nai in order to meet the province's economic development demands.
The delegation also took this chance to study the demand for goods in the US to bring the province’s potential products such as textile and garment, fine art and handicraft products, coffee, cocoa, cashew nuts, rubber, etc to consumers in this market.
Representatives from Made in USA Work, Target and Walmart groups highly appreciated efforts made by Dong Nai to expand market in the US. They pledged to provide all necessary supports to help Vietnamese goods as well as Dong Nai’s access to the US market. Accordingly, Vietnamese products are also required to meet strict standards on quality and other aspects of the manufacturing and processing. Building consumer trust should be a priority for Vietnamese businesses and is an important factor for entering the highly competitive market.
