(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee (PC) on November 10 worked with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on the second phase of Nhon Trach water plant and Bien Hoa city’s wastewater treatment project.
Speaking at the working session, Mr. Mutsuya Mori, Chief Representative of the JICA Viet Nam Office, suggested more efforts from related agencies to carry out the projects.
He also informed that JICA is now launching a program to provide capital sources for human resources training. Accordingly, Dong Nai will be considered to join the program.
Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of PC said that local authorities are working hard to soon complete the project-related documents to submit to JICA and the Japanese Government.
Chairman also called on the JICA to provide Dong Nai with financial assistance in personnel training, which is expected to meet the increasing demand on high-quality workers of enterprises operating in the locality, including Japanese firms.
