Everyday, more than 2,600 tons of non-hazardous daily and industrial garbage are discharged in the province, and 2,470 of them are collected to be treated.
In addition, the province produces over 236 tons of hazardous industrial waste per day and it collects around 213 tons of the garbage, accounting of 90%.
Dong Nai has planned to build 9 waste treatment zones across the province. Presently, 7 of them have been built and put into operation to treat the garbage.
