In the first ten months of the year, revenue from pepper shipments totaled some 6,400 tons worth nearly US$50 million, increasing by 3% in quantity and 13% in value against the same period last year.
The province’s pepper export is forecast to reach approximately US$60 million this year.
Presently, the export price of pepper hit nearly US$8,000 per tonne.
