(ĐN)- According to the management board of the HCM City – Long Thanh - Dau Giay highway, there were more than 20,000 cars traveling on the highway at weekend, an increase of 67 per cent in comparison with normal days.
Since August 29, trucks weighing10 tonnes and 20-feet containers have been allowed to travel on the highway.
As known, the highway has decreased the journey time from HCM City to Vung Tau by an hour and reduced the amount of traffic at Suoi Tien tourism park and Vung Tau – Bien Hoa intersection.
