(ĐN)- On the holidays, Bien Hoa city-based supermarkets of Lotte Mart, Big C, Metro,Co.op Mart Bien Hoa, Vinatex Mart saw increases between 20 percent and 30 percent in the number of shoppers compared to weekdays.
The supermarkets are launching promotion programs with many incentives for buyers of high-quality Vietnamese goods.
During the Independence Day holiday, Metro and Lotte Mart each earned more than VND1 billion in daily turnover.
A promotion weekend held on the holiday tripled the number of customers at Big C, bringing a sudden increase in revenue to the supermarket. Customers enjoyed up to 49 percent discounts on a variety of products including household utensils, kitchen aids and electronic products.
Thanks to the promotion events, customers to Co.op Mart also increased 20 percent.
