(ĐN)- On September 17, Bien Hoa Sugar Joint Stock Company introduced a project to develop a 2,118-ha sugar-cane material area in Vinh Cuu district.
The company will work with around 300 local farmers to provide them with capital and technologies for cultivating the crops and then purchase their products.
Total investment for the project is estimated at more than VND174 billion
Under the project, the sugarcane plantation area will increase from 618 ha in 2014-15 period to 1,118 ha in 2015-16 and 2,118 ha by 2020.
