Dong Nai has a huge potential for tourism development with natural forests, beautiful lakes and waterfalls, some of which are among the best known like Giang Dien, Buu Long, Cat Tien.
Over the past time, the province gave priorities to upgrading transport infrastructure, especially roads to its main tourist sites. However, further efforts must be made to develop new tourism products and professional services to attract visitors.
Dong Nai is sprucing itself up to lure more tourists to local tour routes in a bid to cope with a drop in the number of visitors. Accordingly, relevant sectors should closely cooperate and work out a strategy to encourage domestic tourists. Besides, the province also needs greater investment to make tourism more effective.
