(ĐN)- According to Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC), the section connecting Belt Road No. 2 with the HCMC-Long Thanh-Dau Giay Expressway will opened to traffic on August 29.
The section belongs to the expressway’s construction package 9 which also includes approach roads B1a, B2 and C1 in the city’s district 9, starting construction in April 2013 with the total investment of VND2,434 billion.
The 12km section, which includes 4km of bridge, will help shorten the distance by 2 kilometers compared to the old routes.
More over, all kinds of automobile will be allowed to run on the expressway from August 28.
