The 200-km expressway will connect Dau Giay T-junction in Dong Nai province to Lien Khuong-Prenn expressway in the central highland province of Lam Dong.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Dong said that MoT has assigned the management board of PPP format projects to complete the approval for the investment project and suggested the management board of the project 1 to promptly report the plan for the investment and construction of the expressway project.
The expressway has four lanes in the designing map with 25.5 meters wide, and it will be built with an estimated total investment of VND30 trillion.
However, in the first phase, it will be built with two lanes with speed of 80 km/h.
The expressway will serve as direct traveling route between the two provinces as well as the main route from southern provinces to Da Lat city and central highland provinces, and vice versa.
