(ĐN)- Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee on July 21 had a working session with Associate Professor Dr. Tomoharu Doi from Osaka Prefecture University of Technology (OUoT) and Ms Emiko Setoguchi, General Director of International Department under Pacific Resource Exchange Center (PREX) on technical cooperation to develop human resources for Japanese enterprises in Dong Nai.

According to Japanese businesses operating in Dong Nai, the province is now facing difficulties in developing human resources for industrial production. Therefore, the OUoT and PREX suggested to cooperate with Lac Hong University and Long Thanh Vocational Training College to train hi-tech labor force for the locality. According, Japan will donate around 30 million yen to help the province to train highly skilled laborers.
Speaking at the working session, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai pledged that the province would create favourable conditions for the OUoT and PREX to deploy training programs at request of Japanese enterprises. In this week, the guests will make a survey to Japanese business in Dong Nai to understand more about their human resource needs.
