(ĐN)- According to the General Department of Customs, Vietnam imported more than 1.3 million tons of corn from Brazil worth over US$335 million in the first six months, surged by 19 times in volume and 15 times in value compared with the same period last year.
In this period, total corn imports of the country reached nearly 2.4 million tons, worth a total of US$618 million, 148 percent in volume higher than the same period last year.Imported corn are mainly used for producing animal feed.
