Over the past time, the province has allocated nearly VND10 billion for model of garbage classification, which has been carried out in four wards of Bien Hoa city. Until late 2012, the pilot program was launched in all localities across the province.
The program has gradually helped get local people into the habit of sorting garbage before dumping it.
According to Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh, garbage classification will help protect the environmental as well as for save money in rubbish treatment.
