(ĐN)- Minister Cao Duc Phat of Agriculture and Rural Development on July 14 hosted an online conference to review the management of agricultural and seafood products and food safety in the first half of 2014.
He asked local authorities to consider ranking product quality from A to C on packages to allow people to know and make their own choices, take stricter measures against manufacturers of low quality agricultural products.
He also demanded the revoking of licences of violators and making information about them public.
In the coming time, the ministry will continue to cooperate with localities on dealing with food safety violations and busting the trade in substandard and fake goods.
