(ĐN)- On June 6, Dong Nai Labour Federation, Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authorities (DIZA) and Trang Bom district’s People Committee met representatives of trade union agencies and leaders of 33 enterprises affected by those who took advantage of the recent protests against China’s illegal acts in the East Sea to loot their property.

At the meeting, Vice President Tang Quoc Lap of the provincial Labour Federation, inform the damaged enterprises of the State’s and the province’s support policies. He affirmed that the provincial government would strictly punish the violators in accordance with the country's law, while applying effective measures to prevent the reoccurrence of such acts.
Mr Lap suggested grassroots-level trade union organizations continue communication campaigns to call on workers to support their enterprises to stabilize production.
Vice Chairman of Trang Bom district People’s Committee Le Minh Trang said that all the enterprises affected by the recent social disturbances in the locality have resumed their normal operation and most of their workers would receive wages for days off. The district’s authorities also sent delegations to visit and provide proper support to the damaged enterprises.
Earlier, June 4-5, Dong Nai Labour Federation in cooperation with the DIZA and Long Thanh district People’s Committee met grassroots-level trade union organizations and enterprises affected by recent riots. The enterprises’ representatives expressed their satisfaction with the provice’s support policies and pledged to continue to maintain their investment in the locality.
