(ĐN)- The figure was reported at the ceremony held on June 6 to celebrate the 25th founding anniversary of Dong Nai Port J.S Co (1989-2014) with the attendance of Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai.
Dong Nai Port consists of the three component ports of Long Binh Tan, Go Dau A, and Go Dau B, covering a total area of nearly 80 hectares. There are nine quays, two barge landing sites and three warehouses which serve for cargo transportation.
According to the detailed planning of seaport group number 5 approved by the Prime Minister, Dong Nai Port is classified as a national general port. The focal points include functional piers such as Long Binh Tan and Binh Duong (the Dong Nai River), Phu Huu (Dong Nai and Long Tau- Nha Be River), Ong Keo (Long Tau and Dong Tranh River), Go Dau and Phuoc An (Thi Vai River).
The port is expanding its investment in the new services including cargo container service, warehouse and logistics supply chain.
