(ĐN)- On June 4, Vice Chairwoman Phan Thi My Thanh of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee warmly received Ms Marjorie Yang, Chairwoman of Hong Kong’s Esquel group - one of the world’s leading producers of premium cotton shirts.

According to Ms Marjorie Yang, the Esquel group has so far invested in three plants in Dong Nai’s Amata industrial park, Binh Duong and Hoa Binh provinces, contributing to the localities’ socio-economic development as well as creating a large number of jobs for local people.
Vice Chairwoman Phan Thi My Thanh said that Dong Nai’s government and people highly appreciated the contributions of foreign enterprises to local economic development. Accordingly, Vietnamese government in general and the provincial authorities in particular has made every effort to help FDI enterprises affected by recent disturbances normalize their production and business swiftly.
In the time to come, the province will continue to ensure security and prevent similar acts from recurring. Besides, the enterprises should improve relations between employers and employees, build a core workforce including workers with high skills and firm political knowledge.
