(ĐN)- So far, 100 percent of Dong Nai-based businesses affected by those who took advantage of the recent protests against China’s illegal actions in the East Sea to loot their property have resumed operations. However, some of them are still facing difficulties in stabilizing production due to the lack of workers and machineries.

To solve the difficulties, Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee sent interdisciplinary working teams to hard-hit enterprises to verify real loss of the affected businesses and quicken up payment for the damage.
The provincial Departments of Customs and Taxation have made efforts to help businesses recover their software and import-export declarations and delayed a post-clearance audit until the end of June.
In recent days, Dong Nai authorities has taken timely measures to support riot-affected enterprises resume operation and will continue carrying out policies to assist locally-based enterprises in line with the Government’s instruction. The authorities is also asked to swiftly conduct asset loss assessments and calculate tax reductions or exemptions for each affected enterprise, while offering them credit loan access.
Insurance verification is also been stepped up so that the firms can receive compensation soon and normalize their production and business. Workers are also encouraged to work overtime to help their enterprises to meet orders.
