(ĐN)- The total value of retail sales of goods and services in Dong Nai during the first three months of this year is estimated at VND25.3 trillion, a 15 percent increase compared to the same period last year, according to the Department of Industry and Trade.
The pace of growth was well below the average increase in recent years of about 7-8 percent.
The sectors of tourism, the services and the hotel-restaurant showed the strongest growth. The trade ministry saw a slight increase due to the low purchasing power caused by economic difficulties.
The total value of retail sales of March alone surged 1.2 percent over the previous month.
