(ĐN)- In the framework of the investment promotion program in Japan, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of Dong Nai province People’s Committee led a delegation to Kansai on April 8.
At Imperial Osaka hotel, Chairman Thai and Mr. Toshinori Kobayashi, Head of Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI-Kansai) signed an agreement to boost economic development cooperation; accordingly, support industries, environmental protection and human resources training will be prioritized.
Addressing at the signing ceremony, Mr. Toshinori Kobayashi stressed that the METI-Kansai will extend its concerns to support businesses from the Kansai region to invest in Dong Nai.
Chairman Thai said that the province will continue efforts to create favourable conditions to attract more Japanese investors.
Earlier, the delegation met representatives of 10 Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises that want to operate in the locality; three of them pledged to invest in the province.
At the same day, the delegation visited Hitachi Zosen Corp’s Energy-from-Waste plant which is designed to produce power from the large amounts of energy generated during hygienic waste incineration and treatment processes.
The delegation also met Japanese businesses that want to set up in the province and expressed the hope that the businesses will bring with them the best environmental treatment solutions.
