On this occasion, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee and Governor Toshizo Ido of Japan’s Hyogo province signed an agreement to boost economic development cooperation.
Addressing at the signing ceremony, Chairman Thai hoped that the two sides will further enhance the cooperative relationship in the fields of hi-tech and support industries, environmental protection, infrastructure development, trade, import- export and tourism.
The province leader vowed that the Dong Nai government would create more favourable conditions for Japanese businesses to operate effectively in the province.
On the same day, the delegation in coordination with Vietnamese Consulate in Osaka organized an investment promotion conference in Hyogo. The event attracted the participation of 140 Japan businesses.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman Thai said that Dong Nai has made measures to stimulate the development of support industries; accordingly, the province received approval from the Prime Minister to establish three sub-industrial parks for Japanese enterprises, specializing in supporting industries.
He also stressed that Japan has the third most projects in Dong Nai with 132 businesses involved and a total investment of USD2.73 billion.

On this occasion, Chairman Thai presented 6 investment licenses and 2 land leasing contracts to Japanese investors.
Under the program, the delegation will meet some other Japanese businesses.
