(ĐN)- Over the past seven months, Dong Nai-based enterprises shipped abroad nearly 10,000 tonnes of rubber, decreasing 1,000 tonnes compared to same period last year, according to the province’s Statistics Office.
Since the beginning of the year, the country's rubber exports faced difficulties due to the low price.
Vietnam exported about 65,000 tonnes of rubber worth of US$195 million. This brought the total for the first seven months to 468,000 tonnes at a value of US$1.4 billion, increased in number but droped in turnover, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development reported.
Dong Nai now has approximately 43,500 ha of land under rubber, mostly in Long Thanh, Cam My , Thong Nhat and Xuan Loc districts.
