Taiwan and ASEAN countries mong largest foreign investors in Dong Nai

(ĐN) – Taiwan and ASEAN countries are among the largest foreign investors in Dong Nai province, according to the Provincial Department of Planning and Investment.

Taiwan has become the leading foreign investors in the province with US$ 4.21 billion in investments in 302 projects, followed by ASEAN countries with US$3.5 billion of total investments in 119 projects, European countries with 65 projects worth a total of about US$ 2.33 billion and Japan with 100 projects capitalised at approximately US$ 1.9 billion.

Dong Nai has lured 978 projects with registered capital of US$19.48 billion so far.

 

Dong Nai is actively calling for foreign investors to the province with priorities given to hi-tech projects using clean and green technologies to produce competitive items, export production and supporting industries’ development.
