(ĐN)- The price for sugar cane will increase VND200/kg in the 2010-2011 crop to VND1,150/kg in Dong Nai, Bien Hoa- Tri An Sugar Company’s leader said.

Dong Nai presently has over 9,000 ha of sugar cane with an average productivity of 60-70 tonnes per ha. With this price, local farmers can make profits of nearly 35-45 million per hectare, higher than the previous crop.
The sugar-cane is popularly planted in the districts of Dinh Quan, Trang Bom, Xuan Loc, Nhon Trach and Vinh Cuu.
