(ĐN)- Dong Nai province’s Jan-Oct trade gap is estimated at US$1 billion, according to the Department of Industry and Trade. Over the first ten months, the province’s export turnover reached US$7.886 billion while the import spending was US$8.886 billion, a year-on-year increase of 30% and 22%, respectively.
Of the import items, raw cashew nuts saw the sharpest rise of 80% (27,000 tones), followed by raw materials for production with 50% increase (US$52 mil), industrial chemical up 20% (US$349,000) and tobacco materials up 20% (US$7.7 million).
