Dong Nais June CPI slowed and increased by only 0.98 per cent from the previous month. This is the lowest monthly increase ever recorded. The increase in prices of food, homes, and construction materials … is lower than that recorded in the previous month.
Monthly inflation in Viet Nam eased to 2.2 per cent in May compared to 3.3 per cent in the previous month. The CPI rose by 19.8 per cent in May compared to the same month last year, up from 17.5 per cent in April, the highest since December 2008 when inflation stood at 19.9 per cent after peaking at over 28 per cent earlier the same year.
