(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s coffee export is estimated to reach 78,000 tones in the first half of the year, a 483.5 percent year-on-year increase, according to the province’s Statistics Office.
Tin Nghia Corp and Minh Nguyen Company took the lead in exporting coffee in the province. Coffee is currently the main export item and is the item which earns highest export value among agricultural products of Dong Nai.
Dong Nai now has more than 18,300 ha of coffee under cultivation; of which, around 17,600 ha are in harvest time. Coffee has grown in popularity in Cam My, Trang Bom, Dinh Quan and Tan Phu districts.
