(ĐN)- The province’s import-export turnover reached US$8.87 billion in the first half, according to Dong Nai Customs Department. Particularly, export turnover amounted to US$4.41 billion; meanwhile, import spending was estimated at US$4.46 billion.

| Dong Nai Customs collect VND4,856 bil worth of im-export taxes in first half |
Over the past six months, the customs sector collected VND4,856 billion worth of import-export taxes, equivalent to 63 percent of the estimation, a year-on-year increase of 24 percent.
In this period, the customs department dealt with 419 administrative violation cases with a total fine of more than VND11.5 billion, up 285 percent compared to the previous year.
