(ĐN)- According to information from Dong Nai Customs Department, the customs sector collected nearly VND945 billion in April. Of the total, revenue from import-export taxes and special consumption taxes reached over VND190 billion while that from value-added taxes was more than VND754 billion.
The sector is estimated to reach over VND3,071 billion in revenue from import-export taxes in the first four months of the year, equivalent to approximately 40 percent of the estimation, a year-on-year increase of 68 percent.
In this period, the provincial customs department handled hundred of administrative punishment cases with a total fine of nearly VND5.2 billion.
