(ĐN)- The price of green beans in Dong Nai presently stays at VND 30,000 a kilogram, up VND 2,000 – VND 3,000 from the same period of the previous year. With this price, local farmers can get a profit of VND 20-30 million every hectare of green beas after the production cost is deducted.
Dong Nai’s farmers planted over 2,000 hectares of green beas in this winter-spring crop, reached a yield of around 1-1.2 tonnes per hectare due to unfavorable weather conditions. Many rice farmers in the districts of Xuan Loc, Dinh Quan, Cam My and Tan Phu have shifted to cultivate green beas.
