(ĐN)- Firefighters from the two districts of Long Thanh and Nhon Trach battled a large blaze which raged through a fabric warehouse in Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province on Monday night.
Flames completely engulfed the warehouse covering 2.6 hectares, belonging to Hualon Corporation Vietnam located in Nhon Trach 2 Industrial Park but no injuries were reported.
The fire broke out around 10 p.m at the warehouse that had stocked thousands of tons of fabric.
Fire Brigades in Long Thanh and Nhon Trach districts said seven fire engines were sent to the scene. The High Command of Naval Zone B also sent fire trucks to help extinguish the fire. It was brought under control on Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. Total damage was estimated at tens of billions of dong.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
