Gold prices hit VND 37.43 million/ tael

(ĐN)- Domestic gold prices continued to rise following a worldwide uptrend. In Bien Hoa city, SJC gold was sold on Friday at VND37.43 million per tael, increased by more than VND1.5 million compared to last Friday. The gold price rally on New York and Asia markets had pushed local gold higher and that rising local demand was another factor to drive up the prices. Meanwhile, local people were anticipating gold to rise further so they were buying gold for speculation.
