(ĐN)- A banh chung (square glutinous rice cake) maker called “Tran Gia” in Bien Hoa city’s Tan Tien ward has exported 20 tons of banh chung to the European market and 4 tons of dong leaves for wrapping the cake to US market.
(ĐN)- A banh chung (square glutinous rice cake) maker called “Tran Gia” in Bien Hoa city’s Tan Tien ward has exported 20 tons of banh chung to the European market and 4 tons of dong leaves for wrapping the cake to US market. Tran Gia plans to export an additional 10 tons of banh chung to European countries. Tran Gia reported that the volume of exports in 2010 increased by approximately 10 tons over last year.

Tran Gia is planning to make 40 tons of banh chung and banh tet (cylindric glutinous rice cake) to supply to supermarket chains in the country like Metro, Big C and Co.op Mart to serve consumers on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year 2011 (Tet holiday).
