Dong Nai’s export revenues to hit US$7.1 billion

(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s export revenues will reach US$7.1 billion this year, a year-on-year increase of 20.5 per cent, representing 101 percent of the year’s plan, according to the Provincial Department of Planning and Investment.

Of the total, exports from local enterprises will account for US$405 million, or a year-on-year increase of 12.8 per cent, the central enterprises will earn US$160 million, up 8.8 per cent and the foreign-invested enterprises will fetch over US$6.5 billion, up nearly 21.5 per cent.

High increases will be seen in the export revenues of coffee (15 percent), honney (up 27 percent), footwear (up 17.8 percent), refined wooden products (up 13 per cent) and garment (up 8 percent),

The province’s import value is forecast to stand at US$7.9 billion this year, a year-on-year increase of 19.1 per cent and trade deficit at around US$800 million. The foreign-invested enterprises contributed US$7.673 billion of the total

Major import products were raw materials for production, fertilizer, chemicals and medicines etc.
