(ĐN)- Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will invest more than VND1.3 trillion to build 75 new irrigational works from now until 2015.
Particularly, 26 water reservoirs, 14 pumping stations, 16 barrages and 19 works for flood water drainage will be built in this period.
The projects aim to improve the province’s irrigation capacity and supply nearly 60,000 cubic meters of water per day.
Presently, the province has 116 irrigation projects, provide water to around 30,000 ha of cultivated land.
