Trade industries contributed most to the surge with revenue of over VND 9.23 trillion, up 25.4 per cent; services-industry followed with over VND 1.18 trillion, up 36.6 per cent; hotels and restaurants, almost VND 805 billion, up 37.8 per cent.
The non-state sector registered the highest retail sales growth among other economic sectors. It saw a revenue increase of 28.8 per cent year-on-year to over VND 9.74 trillion; the foreign-owned sector followed with total retail sales rising by 22.6 percent to VND 767.7 billion, the state-owned sector grew at 14.4 percent to VND 711.6 billion.
