(ĐN)- Over the past one year, Trang Bom district has invested around VND2.3 billion to develop ten hectares of red pulp dragon fruit in Song Trau, Tay Hoa, Hung Thinh and Ho Nai 3 communes. This is a part of economic development project in mountainous communes launched by Ministry of Science and Technology.

Red dragon fruit were created by cross breeding between Colombian red pulp dragon fruit and Binh Thuan dragon fruit. New fruit is developing well in the district and expected to bring high economic effect to farmers.
With good quality, nice shape and great taste, red pulp dragon attracted customers at local and foreign markets.
In the coming time, Trang Bom will support activities to facilitate the large scale development of Red dragon fruit in locality.
