Although facing difficulties due to the impacts of the global economic recession, Dong Nai’s industrial sector has developed well in 2009. Particularly, the industrial value increased 10.7 percent, total retail up 20.5 percent and services up 12 percent.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Nam Hai highly praised the sector’s efforts to boost domestic trade promotion programmes such as bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas, organizing market-days and high quality Vietnamese goods fairs, etc.
In 2010, the industrial sector targets a year-on-year increase of 15 percent in industrial production value, 11 percent in export-import turnover and 26 percent in retail sales.
