(ĐN)- The Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade recently organised a market-day for workers in the province’s industrial zones on which Vietnamese high quality goods were sold at 5 to 50 per cent discount. This event is the second of its kind held in Dong Nai, following the fist one in late August this year. This is among a series of activities aimed at celebrating Culture Day of workers in 2009. The event attracted the participation of 34 businesses with 58 stalls showcasing a wide range of products, including household utensils, food, garments… Retailers reported a total of over VND 200 million in sales revenues during the market-day but the figure showed one-third decrease from that of the first market-day as a result of rainy conditions.
