In 2008, Dong Nai Taxation Sector collected VND6,478 billion in tax, fulfilling 108 percent of the set target of the year, a 17 percent year-on-year rise.
At the same day, Long Thanh district’s Taxation Branch Office also organized a ceremony to commend 158 local good taxpayers who have well fulfilled their task of tax payment in previous year. Particularly, three enterprises were commended by General Department of Taxation, one by Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee, 49 others praised by Dong Nai Taxation Bureau and the 101 remaining businesses and individuals lauded by the district’s People’s Committee.
