Of the total, exports from the foreign-invested enterprises accounted for more than $2.6 bil, achieving 38% of the year’s target, the central enterprises earned $54 mil, reaching 26 percent, and local enterprises reached over $137 mil, making up 29 percent.
Dong Nai’s main export products included coffee, garment, and hand-made pottery products, etc. Accordingly, garment exports estimated at $17 mil, a year-on-year decrease of 3.4 percent, hand-made pottery products, $3 mil, down 22 percent. The province also exported 2,580 tonnes of coffee, 36.8 percent lower than that of previous year.
Dong Nai’s import turnover in the six-month period reached around $2.9 bil, accounting for 28.2 percent of the full-year target. The foreign-invested enterprises contributed $2.186 bil of the total, reduced nearly 29 percent.
