(ĐN)- Vedan Vietnam announced its compensation package of VND25 billion for farmers in Ho Chi Minh city, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Dong Nai provinces on April 13.
(ĐN)- Vedan Vietnam, who allegedly damaged the local residents’ cultivation lands with its untreated waste water, announced its compensation package of VND25 billion for farmers in Ho Chi Minh city, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Dong Nai provinces on April 13. Particularly, Dong Nai and HCM city will receive VND7 billion each while Ba Ria-Vung Tau province’s farmers will receive VND6 billion.
Besides, Vedan will spend VND5 billion to set up welfare funds in Dong Nai province’s Long Thanh and Nhon Trach districts, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province’s Tan Thanh district, HCM city’s Can Gio district. The funds aim to support agricultural encouragement activities, study promotion, infrastructure development in the localities.
