(ĐN)- According to information from Chairman of Xuan Loc district’s People’s committee Nguyen Anh Tuan, about 300 tons of PAC 807 rice variety will be cultivated in early August in Xuan Loc district. This variety possesses the combined characters of high yield and disease resistance. In the early planted trial in 2007, this variety was planted in Xuan Phu village, achieving yield of 8-9 tons per ha. Crop duration is 85-95days. This variety has been released to farmers in 4 villages namely Xuan Tam, Xuan Hung, Xuan Tho and Xuan Phu with total planted area of 32 ha.
