The General Statistics Office (GSO) says the increase of consumer price index in March scored 2.99 percent over February, bringing CPI of the first quarter of the year to 9.19 percent.
The General Statistics Office (GSO) says the increase of consumer price index in March scored 2.99 percent over February, bringing CPI of the first quarter of the year to 9.19 percent.
Last month, the index increased by 3.56 percent over January.
Out of the ten listed groups of consumer goods, the group of transportation-post office services recorded the highest increase rate of over 5.7 percent.
This was followed by food and restaurant services at 3.9 percent, and construction materials at 3.5 percent.
Also according to the GSO, the domestic gold price in March saw a jump of 6.5 percent over February and 18 percent over the last quarter.
