(ĐN)- On December 10, Vianshin Soai Rap Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (VSR) under the Viet Nam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (Vinashin) signed contracts to build the second 15,000DWT general cargo vessel and ten 36,000DWT bulk carriers for Vinashin Petroleum Investment and Transport J.S Company (Shinpetrol).
At the same time, the VSR began building a Vinashin Yanmar engine factory and a ship equipment factory in Nhon Trach district. The construction of the two factories is expected to be complete by the third quarter of next year
According to the VSR, the total investment capital for the projects is estimated at VND3,000 billion.
