(ĐN)- On November 23, Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee granted investment licenses for eight projects worth a total of more than $1 billion from local and foreign investors. Attending at the ceremony were Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot.
The projects include Hoa Sen Dai Phuoc Tourism Urban Area project worth $400 million in Nhon Trach invested by Vina Dai Phuoc, a joint venture among Development Investment Construction Group (DIC), VinaCapital Pacific and Allright Assets; $290 million residential area project in Long Tan, Phu Hoi communes invested by Teakwang Vina; Thanh Hung Company’s residential area project with a total investment of $67.9 million; $47 million complex building project in Phu Hoi commune. Besides, Formosa Hung Nghiep decided to raise its capital by $260 million to more than $600 million, becoming the largest investor in Dong Nai currently.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh affirmed that Dong Nai will continue to create favourable conditions for investors to conduct long-term and stable business in the province.
On this occasion, Vina Dai Phuoc donated VND100 million to Fund for the Poor of the province, joint venture of Thai Duong-Sunco and Sova Holdings gave VND80 million to Nhon Trach district’s fund for the poor.
