
Dong Nai earned $459.8 million from exports in October, raising the total export turnover in the first ten months to over $4,295 million, making up 78.7 percent of the year’s target, 28 percent higher than that of last year.

Of the total, exports from foreign-invested enterprises accounted for $3,946 million, the central enterprises earned $107.4 million, and the local enterprises reached over $241.4 million.
The figure is expected to rise to $5,480 million by the end of this year, reaching 100.2 percent of the year target, up 28 percent against 2006.
Dong Nai’s import turnover in the same period showed a increase of 25.4 percent to $5,187 million, achieving 91 percent of the year’s figure.
