Donaruco plans to become Corporation

(ĐN)- At the meeting-hall of Suoi Tre Cultural Center, Dong Nai Rubber Company (Donaruco) has organized a meeting to review its works in 2006 and discuss orientations and tasks for 2007. Attending the meeting was Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ao Van Thinh.

In 2006, Donaruco has exploited more than 53,000 tonnes of latex, up 6.48 percent of the year plan. The company made a total profit of VND662 billion from a turnover of VND 1,771 billion, contributed over VND300 billion to the State budget. Currently, a worker has a monthly average income of more than VND4 million, 38% higher than that of 2005. Last year, Donaruco has received Golden Cup of Vietnamese Trademark 2006, Golden Cup for Community Development. In addition, the company has been also awarded the Vietnam quality gold prize 2006 by Ministry of Science and Technology and presented certificate of merit by the Prime Minister.

Presently, Donaruco are planning to become a corporation. Accordingly, its factories and plantations such as Ong Que, Hang Gon will be equitized in 2007. Moreover, the company will focus on training its staff and developing human resources, ensure the strong development of the company in the next years.

On the occasion, Cam My plantation has been granted the Third Class Independence Medal;  many individuals and collectives also received Labour Medals and certificates of merits from Prime Minister.
